Shatta Wale Has 4 Months More To Retire From Music

Some statements we make today will come back to haunt us in the future, and this is why we share with you a reminder from some of the statements made by Shatta Wale.

Three years ago, thus, in July 2016, Shatta made it known to the world that he will retire actively from music.

The dancehall artiste started his music as Bandana and went on hibernation in 2004, only to return to the music scene 10 years after with the name Shatta Wale.

Shatta in one of his interviews in 2016 stated without mincing words that he is working so hard so he will be able to retire actively from music and help others as well as take care of his businesses.

And in just a twinkle of an eye, 2020 is in the corner. We’re in August so it’s left with just about 3 months more.

He revealed this on an interview on Delay TV.

Shatta Wale said:

“People feel Shatta will fall pretty soon and that’s a lie. I keep telling my manager that I need to retire by 2020. With all the controversies, I want people to realize this guy (Shatta) has a future”.

According to the African Dancehall King, he neither a squander nor a gloat.

“The predecessors didn’t educate the youth well. I don’t brag but whenever I get money, I save a lot. I make sure I look for the right things for my career. Gone are the days when artiste sits on TV and brag about things they don’t have. That’s why I put my name on every car I have. I am taking advantage of what I have now and my fame”,

he retorted.
