African Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah-Mensah aka Shatta Wale has subtly confirmed his allegiance to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Though Shatta Wale has been seen on numerous political platforms in the past with the recent one being his appearance in Jomoro to support Fantana’s mother, never has he been seen holding the flag not to talk of wearing any political apparel.
However, on Monday, December 28, 2020, something unbelievable happened during the dancehall musician’s performance at the NPP victory carnival organized by MP-elect, Peter Amewu.
Shatta Wale for the first time rocked an NPP jacket while performing on stage which to many is a sign of support for the ruling party.
Meanwhile, others believe that the musician’s action was influenced by the huge sum of cash he was paid by the NPP MP-elect.
