Ghanaian music giants, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are the latest wold acclaimed music icons to comment on the trending and terrifying #ENDSARS protest in the major cities of Nigeria.

The two music maestros have urged the Nigerian police department most especially the SARS unit to end the successive wicked extortion of money from the and great physical cruelty they impose of innocent Nigerian citizens.

The two took to their Twitter pages to broadcast their thoughts;

Stonebwoy while reacting to the protest, wrote:

“The Police They Say is Your Friend. Mandated To Enforce The Law so there’s Peace Love And Unity. Now To Have the Police Do Otherwise should be condemned. This is happening in so many other countries in africa to have it get to this level in nigeria Flag of Nigeria is a bad Look for AFRICA.”

Shatta Wale on his part added:

I have been following what’s happening to our people in Nigeria and as someone who believes in freedom and justice, the rise of the streets, I will like to say these things must stop Stop sign Police brutality anywhere is a threat to nation building #StopPoliceBrutality #EndSARS Flag of Nigeria Folded handsTwo hearts

Shatta Wale came from the street and I will stand for the street and vulnerable. The ghetto youth also deserves better. Enough of the killings. We must embrace ourselves and support one another. The Police is supposed to protect life but not to take life #StopPoliceBrutality
