Hiplife artiste Gasmilla born Odartei Milla Lamptey seems to see rapper Sarkodie as pain in the neck for subtly claiming the originator of Azonto.
Sarkodie has started off a campaign to breathe life into Azonto, the Ghanaian music and dance genre that put Ghana on the international map a decade ago.
He has asked his fellow artistes to send him songs with element of Azonto so they could kick off the campaign.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana in regards to the trend, Gasmilla rained a couple of abusive utterances against the African rap king as he expressed his displeases in the strategies of the said artist in staying relevant in the music industry.
Gasmilla was pissed as he disclosed that Azonto isn’t dead, but instead has been growing since the time Sarkodie and his colleagues abandoned the genre which made them.
The international fisherman as he is affectionately called laballed the two times BET award winner an opportunist who uses his brand to bait rising or up and coming artiste for collaborative effort all in he name of helping them. He expressed that it’s a technique Sarkodie has been using to keep his brand relevant.
However, he encouraged Sarkodie to seek forgiveness from Nshorna Muzik for reasons best known to him only.
