Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music has apologized to fans for the hitches in the transmission that occurred during the live stream of the event on ceek.com.
Few minutes to the event, the website recorded over 1,000,000 page visitors from Ghana only, and that caused the website to crash.
The concert managed to go on and alternative means of streaming was made available to fans.
In a statement, it was noted that “the numbers that signed on globally exceeded expectations so much it overwhelmed the ceek platform rendering unable to operate as designed.”
However, the team encouraged who missed the concert to keep following Sarkodie’s social media platforms “for an announcement of the repeat broadcast date and schedule.”
