Samini fumes over ongoing Ghana card registration by NIA as it risks spreading coronavirus

Reggae-Dancehall artiste, Samini has expressed his concerns over the ongoing Ghana card registration in the Eastern region by the NIA.

The National Identification Authority of Ghana has refused to call off the registration of people in the Eastern Region for the Ghana card.

Apparently, some authorities like the Ghana Medical Association and other individuals have raised concerns over the ongoing registration which poses as a major threat in these times of the outbreak of coronavirus.

The president called off all public gatherings, meanwhile the NIA has refused to call of it registration which sees over 100s of people gathering around centers on a daily basis to register.

Concerns that this could lead to a major rise in the number of infected persons have been rubbished.

It is for these reasons that Dancehall artist Samini took to his twitter timeline to blasts citizens who go to these centers to register for the Ghana card.

According to Samini, he cannot fathom why some naive Ghanaians are still in queue to register while the situation at hand demands that we stop all gatherings.

He advised citizens to rather go home and boycott the registration for their own safety. The musician also promised to march to the office of the NIA to put a stop to their foolishness, if the need be.
