Yesterday, Ghanaian reggae legend Emmanuel Andrew Sammini, widely known as Samini, was in the news for trying to enter the premises of the University of Legon but was eventually not permitted to do so because he had no entry card.
Samini took to Twitter to berate the security man for allowing him to enter the premises, but it turned out to be something else where he was lambasted for trying to use his celebrity status to influence the security man to allow him to enter.
However, in a new post, the ‘Linda’ hitmaker has apologised for his actions. Taking to Twitter, he wrote:ย
After my post about the incident at the security-gate Iโve realized majority of you advised that I should have done the right thing.Nothing makes my case right regardless of how many cards I have and how upset I got .#nocardnoentry Apologies to the young man doing his job. ๐๐พ ๐๐พ
