Popular Ghanaian actress, entrepreneur and fashionista; Salma Mumin has taken us back to the lane to the dark period in her life when she was just a pure water seller in the streets of the capital, Accra, Gossips24.com reports.
As narrated by Salma during an interview with Zionfelix, she started her pure water business in a blue and white container about five years ago. But unfortunately, it didn’t go well as she expected because she was duped by a fraudster who paraded himself as a customer.
According to Salma, her storekeeper at the time was tricked to sell all the available sachet packs of water to this fraudster without taken payment for them.
This ordeal happened when the unknown man claimed he was having a party at his house and needed all the water at the store. He, therefore, asked the storekeeper to go for a calculator to check the cost of the water. Upon the storekeeper’s arrival, the man had driven off with the water without paying.
Salma explained that although she was hurt by the incident, but she didn’t let it prevent her from entering into other business ventures.
At the moment, Salma Mumin claims she employs about 20 people at her Salma’s eatery, a restaurant in Accra. And she’s about her new clothing line “Lure” very soon.
