Nigerian afrobeats star who’s proximity to attain a legendary status very soon is evident. Known by his stage name Rema; Has confessed of stealing his friend’s laptop in 2017.
Not only did he confess of the thievery he committed three years ago, but he also explained the reason he stole from his friend whom he has identified as Eric.
According to the Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper who signed a deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin records, back in 2019.
He stole the laptop because he was very broke back then and his mother was pregnant too.
So he was left with no option than to illegally sell his friend’s laptop and use the proceeds to sort out the problems at home.
Rema, however apologized to the friend for causing him such pain three years ago.
