Yesterday, the Ofankor Circuit Court presided over by Justice Ebenezer Osei Darko ordered the Ghana Police Service to send Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng popularly known as Funny Face.
To be sent to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for two weeks succeeding his feud with a bartender and some officers of the Ghana police service.
The comic actor appeared before the was after he was arrested last week for discharging a firearm at a drinking bar after a disagreement ensued between him and the owner.
At the court, the judge asked Funny Face if he was normal. According to a report filed by one Adom TV reporter and monitored Funny Face answered in an angry that he is normal but also is not normal.
He further disclosed that he was slapped by police officers when he was being arrested and that might have affected him and additionally pleaded guilty to the unlawful discharge of a firearm.
After further questioning, the judge arrived at the stringent conclusion that Funny Face might not be normal henece the need to be confined at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for two weeks and return to court on March 1.
