Over the weekends, Dr Kwame Fordjour aka Dr UN made it to the news one more time after news of his arrest went viral on the local digital space.
According to Sampson Nyamekye who reports for UTV Ghana, the big-time con artist was arrested purposely for awarding fake awards and sham citations to the dignitaries of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2018.
From what we have gathered, Dr UN who is noted for his infamous UN Blueprint awards was granted bail in the sum of GHC 20,000 with two sureties who were his mother and his father.
He was also tasked to be visiting the court to continue with the proceedings but he vanished into the thin air and failed to do so since 2018 .
Dr UN has been on the Police’s watch list since then. The Police have tried on several occasions to smoke him out from his hiding place but to no success until last Friday where his cup became full.
According to sources, Dr UN was heard on Kumasi-based Hello FM speaking during an interview where the court warrant was sent to him and was arrested.
The courageous scammer tried to call the President of Ghana because to him he is a diplomat who has to be protected at all times.
