November 12, 2020, happens to be the one-year anniversary of former president Rawling who passed away and to celebrate the statesman, families and sympathizers gathered at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Adabraka, Accra, to commemorate a year since his death.

Children of the former president Zanetor and Kimathi Rawlings, took to the pulpit to eulogize their father as they praised him for the good work done both in the life of Ghana and their children.
Zanetorspeakng about his father stated saying;
“The journey of combating corruption has been a complex journey for Ghana, but while you lived, you never stopped championing that cause,” “Your loss was a loss to the whole country, and the pain one felt was by most Ghanaians,”
Kimathio who followed after her sister finished her stated also spoke saying;
“We are very grateful for the huge presence and love showed to your founder and the family. We count on your continued support.”
