Konadu Rawlings arrives at Black Star Square for the burial service of her late husband (Video)
Former First Lady, Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has arrived at the Black Star Square for the burial of her late husband, Jerry John Rawlings.
The mortal remains of the late Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings (Rtd.) will be laid to rest today, January 27, 2021, after a State funeral at the Black Star Square, Accra.
The late Jerry John Rawlings died on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, aged 73, after a short illness.
Mr Rawlings has been eulogised as contributing immensely to the thriving of democratic rule and stability in Ghana.
The national activities started on Sunday with a Catholic Requiem Mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral and a vigil at the Air Force Officers Mess in Accra.
