The president, H.E Nana Akfuo-Addo has been reported to have defied his own social distancing and public gathering rule on his birthday, yesterday, at a privately held birthday party.
Apparently, President Akufo-Addo had ordered Ghanaians and others in Ghana to observe social distancing, thus an average of 1meter distance between individuals to avoid the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
The First Man of the Land also ordered that public gatherings should not see more than 25 people in attendance as he ruled out church service, funerals, conferences, and others.
Well, who would have thought that the maker of such rules will also break them? No one.. but the president has.
The president turned 76 on Sunday, March 29, 2020, and as such organised a private birthday party which had in attendance the first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Bawumia and others, as per a video sighted by Gossips24.com.
From the said video which was taken from the president’s private birthday party as shared by Ras Mish on Facebook, the president did not observe the social distancing rule.

On top of that, it was very obvious from the video that persons in attendance were more than the maximum 25 instituted by the president himself.
This has drawn attention from a section of social media users who claim the president himself cannot set a good example for his citizens to follow.
