Akuapem rap legend, Pope Skinny, has berated Ghanaian Christians for always calling on ‘Israel Nyame’ to fight on their behalf whiles the Israelites themselves are fighting with missiles and bombs.
This controversial comment from the rapper was inspired by the news that Israel has launched airstrikes against Gaza, including many that is targeted at multiple apartment buildings.
And ever since the rocket launches and airstrikes began, at least 122 Palestinians have been killed, including 31 children, while seven Israelis have been killed, including one child.
He took to his Twitter page to submit that Ghanaians should deal with reality as it is and stop calling on ‘Israel Nyame’ to help them with their problems through un-ending prayers.
He wrote;
