ZIMBABWE – Policemen took the law into their own hands as they used church members of an unknown church in Zimbabwe as scapegoats for defying the President’s orders.
Zimbabwean president, H.E Emmerson Mnangagwa had earlier placed a ban on public gatherings and church services of more than 100 people as the country combats the deadly coronavirus.
However, members of a certain church in Zimbabwe defied the president’s orders as they held a service.
In a video chanced on by Gossips24.com, policemen are seen chasing church members with canes. Other members who were caught in the nets of these police officers received their share of the ‘national beatings’.
Meanwhile, in Ghana, a pastor was arrested on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, for holding a church service.
