Ghanaian pastor arrested for defying Akufo Addo’s ban on public gatherings (video)

A Ghanaian pastor who is based in Suntreso, Kumasi, has met his meter as he was arrested by Operation Calm Life of the Ghana Police Service for disobeying the president’s ban on Public Gatherings.

In a video sighted by Gossips24.com, the leader and founder of Open Arms Church, Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie was being marched into the van of the security service for breaking the orders of the president.

His church members did not disrupt the ‘arresting procedure’ but rather cheered their leader for his bravery as they led him to the car.

This comes after Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie organised two church services on both Monday and Tuesday amid the president’s ban. He is reported to have said no one can do him anything when he holds a service.

Recall Gossips24.com reported the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo ordered the closure of all educational institutions with effect from Monday, March 16, 2020, while banning all forms of gatherings including Church services which have the tendency to influence the spread of the virus.
