A group of electoral officers have been arrested for allegedly tampering with presidential ballot papers in the ongoing elections, the Electoral Commission (EC) has announced.
A statement by the EC confirmed this information about isolated cases of presidential ballot papers being tampered with in some polling stations in Awutu Senya West and Bawku Central constituencies.
A line in the EC’s statement in reaction to the alarm of tampered presidential ballot papers reads;
The general public is informed that the presidential ballot for the 2020 general elections has twelve candidates
