Yesterday, April 20th 2019, was the premiere of the much awaited Away Bus movie, at both silverbird cinemas at the Accra Mall and Westhills Mall.
The movie produced by Kofi Asamoah and Peter Sedufia had a massive attendance as it made it first appearance in the cinemas of Ghana.
Apparently, audience who had bought tickets outnumbered the capacity of the Silverbird cinema, plus organisers had to increase the number of screenings that had been scheduled initially to meet the demands of people who purchased tickets to watch the premiere of the Away Bus movie.
Our reporter from Gossips24.com found it difficult to make her way through as it took her 3hrs to make it to the last batch of viewers for the night.
Managers of the silverbird cinemas alongside organisers are yet to address the public as to why the attendance superseded the initial number.
