Photos of the teenagers who allegedly murdered a headmaster of the Salvation Army Basic School in the Eastern region have popped up.

The deceased headteacher, George Somuah Bosompem, was beaten by the teenagers and was later pronounced dead.

He was reportedly attacked for protesting the invasion of his garden on campus by suspected drug addicts who smoke and defecate in the school.

The suspects have since been arrested and identified as Mireku Emmanuel 17, Philip Okodie,17, Paul Boadu,18 and Richard Amaning, 18, alias Konko.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has condemned the alleged murder of the headteacher.

In a strong-worded statement, the GES condemned the actions of the teenagers, while consoling the deceased headteacher’s widow and three children.

The statement, signed by the GES’ Director-General, Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, also called for the laws to deal with the culprits.
