Just In: NPP’s campaign manager, Peter Mac Manu tests positive for coronavirus

The New Patriotic Party’s campaign manager for the 2020 general elections, Peter Mac Manu has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

He is reported to be at the Intensive Care Unit at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Also on admission to the Unit is the Deputy Trade Minister, Carlos Ahenkorah.

There are reports that two other Deputy Ministers who have tested positive for the virus are at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) receiving treatment.

Just yesterday, the former general secretary of NPP, Sir John also lost his life to coronavirus at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
