People Are Stuck In A SnakePit – Nana Aba Anamoah Reacts To Those Criticizing Jackie Appiah
In a recent tweet, Ace Ghanaian journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, has reacted to the current argument on social media after a leaked video of Jackie Appiah’s multi-million house surfaced online.
People have accused the actress of sleeping with big men in order to get the house because her acing alone would not have gotten her this nice edifice. A lot of people have jumped to the defense of the actress because they think she has been the face of the Ghanaian movie industry for more than ten years now and that she even deserves better.
In Nana Aba Anamoah’s tweet, she lamented how people attribute a young man’s success to sakawa and that of a young woman’s to ashawo.
In her own words, she wrote;
When you make it as a man in this country, they attribute it to sakawa or drugs. You make it as a woman, you’re ashawo. People who do this are permanently stuck in a snakepit. Wake up from the folly and attempt to make your life better too. God be with us all.
