Hiplife and tongues musician, Justice Amoah better known by his stage name, Patapaa has disassociated himself from the biggest award scheme in the country, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
In an interview with Ghana News Agency, the Agona-Swedru based artiste said he will not participate in this years edition.
Clearly, Patapaa has not ye overcome the decision of the organizers of the scheme to ignore his viral ‘One Corner’ song to the Most Popular Song of the Year the VGMAs 2018.
He said; “The idea of awarding musicians it not a bad thing and VGMA has been around for a long time time.”
“I’m still not happy with the disappointment in 2018 after my hit song ‘One Corner’ didn’t win an award despite its positive impact on the world stage. I decided not to participate in the awards scheme but I wish you the best and urge you to do the right things”.
