Some Ghanaians don’t care about the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in spite of the number of confirmed cases, contacts and suspected cases of coronavirus in Ghana.
Days ago, we shared a video of some Ghanaians enjoying Bloombar’s live feed on Instagram which saw more than 2000 people enjoying themselves.
Well, we have seen another video that was shared online today by Ghanaian blogger, GHKwaku.
In the video, one could see over 500 Ghanaians at the beach having fun and chilling for the last.
We don’t know the kind of festivity that was ongoing but it appears these Ghanaians went there to enjoy themselves instead of staying home to prevent further infections and contacts.
Is it ignorance, or it is just a fact that some Ghanaians don’t care about the deadly virus which has already killed one person in the country with more deaths likely to be recorded in the coming days.
We won’t be surprised if more cases are recorded henceforth – we are just irresponsible!
