“Our music videos don’t go anywhere” – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah alias Shatta Wale has revealed why he doesn’t feature in music videos.

Lately, there’s been a lot of complains about the dancehall musician’s reluctance when it comes to shooting collaborative music videos.

Apparently, Shatta Wale has a tangible reason behind his actions and does not give a hoot about whatever others think.

Addressing the sentiments from his colleague musicians, Shatta Wale in an interview with Andy Dosty stated that our music videos don’t go anywhere and that’s why he does not bother himself when it comes to shooting music videos.

He stressed that Ghanaian musicians have failed to learn how the system works and that’s why we can only boast of Sarkodie’s collaboration with Castro ‘Adonai’ as the video and song with most streams in Ghana.

Our videos don’t go anywhere so i feel reluctant shooting videos with my colleagues after recording with them” —- @shattawalegh.
