Ola Michael apologises to Wendy Shay for saying she doesn’t look beautiful in the morning

Entertainment critic cum movie producer, Ola Micheal on Tuesday morning rendered an unqualified apology to Wendy Shay over comments he made few months ago.

Recall, Ola Michael on September 11, 2019, revealed all the photos of Wendy Shay have suffered massive criticism because she lacks picture beauty and has an oily face.

However, Ola’s words were misinterpreted by various entertainment news portals as a hate speech which got to the Uber Driver.

Well, after a month, Ola has apologised to Wendy over comments attributed to him suggesting the musician looked ugly.

During an interview with host Jay Foley on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz, the female artiste was asked how she deals with cyber-bullying during which she cited an example of a comment passed by Ola Michael.

Someone once passed a comment saying that I look ugly when I wake up in the morning and I am surprised because this person doesn’t even know me well and hasn’t seen me wake up before

Ola who was in the studio that very day owned up and tried explaining that his statement was misconstrued by the public adding that he only meant that individuals with oily faces like himself must quickly wipe up when they sweat and Wendy Shay was an example of such a person.

“All I said was, individuals with oily faces like myself must quickly wipe up when they sweat and you [Wendy Shay] was an example of such a person. All I said was that there should be extra make-up artistes with you who will take care of your face that was what I said,”

After a few reluctances on Wendy’s part, she finally accepted the apology.
