CEO of OGB Music, who doubles as a highlife artiste, Ogidi Brown, about two days ago from February 20, 2020, made an emotional post on social media which got the attention of everyone – but hey, what if there is more to his post?
Ogidi Brown’s post has 1001 questions around it, and it’s only best if we stick to what he wrote himself while in that ‘Critical condition’.
What worries me is how on earth someone would fake his own sickness, all in the name of hype, and nomination by award schemes, has it gotten to that level? Well, I guess it has as Ogidi Brown pulls a perfect stunt to preach to the world that he is “the only physically challenged artiste in a wheelchair trying to build the hope of others to know disability is not an excuse”.
I don’t think anyone will be happy to be in Ogidi Brown’s shoes, but what has he done for the industry that he wants to be honored for aside using his emotions and situation to get the attention of Ghanaians?
Again, we all know how musicians and celebs pull unnecessary stunts when they need something or want to be in the news ahead of a project they are about to release, and I can say Ogidi Brown’s situation is one of them.
One of his lamest speeches of all was this one, “i started doing music commercially from 2016 and I’ve invested alot in music, but i haven’t been nominated before, please i want you to reward me before i die, thank you Mr President thank you Ghana.” Spending 4 years in the music industry and you already want to be honored using stunts to the extent of telling the entire world you have been in a sickbed for 8 days.
Without shame, Ogidi Brown knowing how caring Ghanaians are, went ahead to post a fake video of himself in a hospital all in the name of getting better to win some emotional support on social media.
Well, it is clear that he is not ill, he just posted the photo and video for hype. Soon he will be releasing a song and that’s what this is about.
