We are left with barely 12 hours to go to the polls to either retain or re-elect both our presidential and parliamentarian candidates.

But before the final bell rings, let’s take a look at the ruling party’s 5 strongholds and safest seats which will ultimately still be in their possession come what may.

Suame Constituency: Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who is the current MP for this constituency has been in parliament since 1996. He’s also the majority leader in parliament making it a done deal for the NPP even before the EC blows the whistle for voting to commence.

Manhyia Constituency: This particular constituency has also been under the wings of the NPP since 1996. Kwame Addo-Kuffor was the first politician under the ticket of the NPP to win this seat in 1996.

Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency: This is the constituency of the current Minister Of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who also doubles as the representative in parliament for the constituents s in this constituency. I can boldly say on authority that the NPP has already won this constituency both the parliamentary and presidential votes.

New Juaben North Constituency: The NPP has won this particular constituency both parliamentary and presidential since 1996. No long talks, another sealed deal for the “ELEPHANTS”.

Ablekuma Central Constituency: Even though Ablekuma Central constituency was occupied in 2008 and 12 by the NDC it was re-captured in 2016 by the NPP. Prior to this history, the NPP had occupied the seat from 1996 to 2004.
