A young man believed to be an NDC man has found himself in a very tight corner after he was caught tearing the poster of an NPP parliamentary candidate.
The incident which happened in Gbi-Bla, located in the Hohoe Constituency of the Volta Region saw the man believed to be an NDC sympathizer been placed on a chair and been given some lashes.
This act of vandalism ignited tensions, leading to the physical assault.
Eyewitnesses claim the NPP supporters, angered by the destruction of their campaign materials, took matters into their own hands and attacked the man.
According to reports, the young man whose identity remains unknown suffered lots of injuries and has been rushed to the hospital.
