A 35-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to commit suicide in Parliament whiles sitting was in progress.
The man who has been identified as Kojo Mensah from Kwesimintim nearly committed suicide from the public gallery but he was stopped by the security personnels around.
Eye witness revealed that he was on the verge of hanging himself with a rope.

Commander of the Parliament Police Supt. Freeman Tetteh has indicated without mincing any word that a criminal investigation has begun into his conduct.
He has since been transferred to the Ministry police station for a quick prosecution.
