Regional minister for Greater Accra Honourable Henry Quartey has in a statement revealed that starting from November 1 there would be no more Tricycle (aboboyaa) on the roads.
According to the minister, the new directive forms part of the government’s plan to make ghana work again and would begin from November.
The minister who was speaking about the roads and how to make the country work again revealed that the major road that is of concern is the Tema Motorway.
Honorable Henry Quartey further added that the initiative forms part of the government’s agenda known as “Let Ghana Work Again” as the tricycles are known to cause accidents on the roads of Ghana.
The minister further added that a one week grace period would be given to all the assemblies to create the public awareness on the new directive
