Nigerian social activist Verydarkman has accused popular clergyman Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of being a fake “Man of God” after the latter’s much-advertised “Healing Water” failed to heal the sick. Verydarkman was hit with a lawsuit by the clergyman’s lawyers last week after seeking to expose the popular televangelist. In a video shared on his Instagram page, Verydarkman ordered samples of the “Healing Water” from Prophet Fufeyin. He then went to a store to purchase food items before visiting a community of disabled people in Abuja. None of the individuals suffering from different forms of disability, including blindness, leprosy, and being crippled, were healed after drinking portions of the supposed ‘Healing Water’.In the video, Verydarkman could be heard asking a blind man if he had regained his sight after giving him a portion of the ‘Healing Water’, only to receive a negative response.

Nigerians on social media have commended the activist for his bold stance in exposing Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin. In the latest development, Verydarkman has justified his action on his Instagram page. He asserted that “one does not need faith to be healed after buying something that has been described as a healing substance.
