President Muhammadu Buhari, along with First Lady, Aisha came out Sunday for the Eid ul-Fitr in Aso Rock, unmasked.
In contrast, other family members and close aides wore masks for the prayer .
However, the first family blatantly breached COVID-19 rules when they surrounded the president for a photo.
There is no physical distancing of sort, a protocol prescribed by WHO and NCDC.
Caution was certainly thrown to the wind!
We expect Aso Rock to defend the seeming recklessness that endangers the President.
However, we expect them to know better because COVID-19 is on the rise in Nigeria.
On Saturday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, put the national caseload at 7,526.
So far 2174 people have been discharged and 221 people have died.
