The Ministry of National Security has dropped a communique that details why some of its agents stormed Citi TV/FM to arrests Cakleb Kudah and Zoe Baidoo for taking pictures and videos of an authorized area.
Just three days ago, some officials from the ministry reportedly stormed the premises of Citi FM/TV to pick up the aforementioned journalist sin what many people have termed as ‘Rambo Style’
This development served them serious backlash from a greater section of social media commentators with the opinion that the National Security wants to oppress and intimidate journalists in the country.
However, according to a report by the National Security, Ms Zoe Abu Baidoo refused to honour their invite after she was called for questioning prior to her highly censured arrest
“Upon declining an invitation for interrogation, Ms Zoe Abu Baidoo was picked up by operatives of the ministry” the last part of a statement released by the ministry of National Security stated.
