Nana Yaa Brefo has waded her thoughts into the ongoing brouhaha about the need for movie actors, actresses and showbiz figures as an entity to throw their weights behind colleague industry persons who are contesting in the impending elections.
Her comments came off after Bridget Otoo and Beverly Afaglo heavily condemned Kalybos, Prince David Osei and Bibi Bright for campaigning against John Dumelo in Ayawaso West Wugon constituency.
According to the female media broadcaster, they as media figures haven’t sworn an allegiance to any of their colleagues to support them by hook or crook.
She further added that showbiz celebs are just like any other Ghanaian has the right to support who ever they think will best serve the country.
Ghana will be going to polls on Monday 7th December 2020 and it is essential that we crucially do away with all kinds and forms of needless criticisms and insults prior to the elections.
