President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has paid a visit to the Pedestrian Shopping Mall at Odawna, near the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra, which was razed by fire at dawn.
As remarked by Nana Addo during the tour, it is a very sad encounter and a big tragedy for the country.
He also hinted that authorities have been assigned to identify and compile the names of the victims for the government to provide them with assistance concerning their loss.
“We would see what government could do to begin the process of rehabilitating the people,” he is reported to have said.
