Nana Addo has no right to ban church activities – Open Arms Church pastor

On March 19, 2020, Gossips24.com reported the arrested of Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie, Head pastor of Open Arms Church.

He was arrested for disobeying Akufo-Addo’s ban on church activities amid the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

The man of God’s arrest went viral and received lots of comments and reactions from netizens where some were commending the police for a good job done whilst others were backlashing.

However, speaking in an interview on Kessben FM, Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie revealed he even held a church service a day after Akufo-Addo’s directive.

He added that as old as he is, the President whom he is far older than has no right to tell him what to do regarding how to go by his church activities.

He said “President Akufo Addo knows I’m older than him. Ghana is a Christian country and he has no right to ban church activities”

” I have warned the President that he together with his cabinet should change the directives because it is rather the church that can properly sensitize the public on how to protect themselves amid the outbreak” he stated.
