Sister Derby born Deborah Owusu Bonsu has disclosed that; she had the ardent desire of becoming a MARINE BIOLOGIST whiles growing up and had nothing of the sort like music in mind during her pre-teens.
Speaking to Jay Foley on “PRIME MORNING SHOW” , the uncle obama hit maker revealed – she wanted to study Marine Biology in the United States but her father quashed her aspiration.
The forthright celebrity slumped in deep dejection during the narration of this life story to Jay Foley. She explained that, her father had an opposite idea for her future goals.
I couldn’t go to the U.S. because my father wanted me to go to school in Ghana so even though i got the visa and school i applied for but ended up in K.N.U.S.T where i did publishing studies. That was a hard choice because i didn’t have an arts background . I wanted to do visual arts in KNUST but they said because of my science background all i could do was publishing studies.
