My father got me arrested because I wanted to be a musician – Ackah Blay reveals

Veteran Highlife musician, Ackah Blay has revealed how his biological father got him arrested.

In an interview with Arnold Elavanyo Mensah on Zylofon FM, the veteran singer said we was once in the grips of police when he decided to do music.

According to him, his father was not enthused about his decision to do music, so he called for his arrest.

He said his father was a bookworm since he was the assistant director at the Ghana Education Service (GES) at that time.

 He clarified that his father felt being disgrace after he ran away from school to play music.

Mr Blay indicated he wasn’t a bad boy when growing up, but his only crime was his decision to follow his passion–which was music.
