Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole has declared that his Hip Hop song ‘Don’t be late’ deserved to win the ‘Hip Hop Song of the Year’ at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Kofi Mole argued that the aforementioned song comes above all other Hip Hop songs in Ghana under the year of review and reiterating on the fact that, it is not enough for the song to be nominated in the Hip Hop Category but must be adjudged the best song.
Speaking to Becky on Joy News, the Oseikrom bred rapper added that his ‘Don’t be late’ song topped several music chart shows for months in Ghana and on some online music stores.
“Hands down, ‘Don’t Be Late’ has to win Hip-Hop song of the Year in the upcoming VGMAs. No other hip-hop song deserves it more than Don’t Be Late”
“No Hip-hop song released in the year under review matches my Don’t Be Late song. Don’t Be Late has topped various chart shows for months, topped iTunes Chart, you name it,” he voiced.
