Popular Nigerian singer, Akinfenwa Donus popularly known in the showbiz industry as Joeboy has come out to speak about his recent single titled Alcohol.
According to the musician he just wanted to try something different when he made the song and had no intentions of promoting Alcoholism among the youth.
“Being tipsy inspired ‘Alcohol’. There are different challenges in life; it never ends. There is always something one needs to fix or solve. I am not encouraging alcoholism in any way but I understand that people need breaks but trying to run away from one’s problems won’t fix them at the end of the day.”
Joeboy speaking about his career revealed that he is very happy as to how far God has been able to bring him as his recent song has made much more impact than he even anticipated.
According to him he was a bit scared when he wanted to release the alcohol song but was surprised how people jumped on the song after it came out.
