Telecommunication giant MTN has announced its mobile money services (MoMo) will not be available today, February 23, at 11pm for an impending service upgrade.
MTN in a statement assured its users the Momo service will be up and running by Sunday, February 24 at 5am.
The telecom (MTN) with the highest number of mobile money users expressed its regret to customers over the incident.
There are currently 31 million registered Mobile Money accounts, with MTN leading with the highest number of users according to the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GhIPPS).
Momo users should take note of this development.
