Ghana Black Stars legend and Chelsea star, Michael Essien has joined the coaching staff of Danish team FC Nordsjaelland.
The football team publicly announced that Michael Essien is now a vibrant member of their technical team through a tweet they shared on the team’s official Twitter Page.
Welcome, Essien. The former Black Star and pro player, Michael Essien, is joining our coaching staff this season. He’s gonna assist the coaches and participate in the training sessions alongside the players
The Denmark based team wrote on the “bird app”
In response to the tweet, Michael Essien also tweeted;
I am delighted to have joined @fcnordsjaelland coaching staff as part of my development towards my full coaching licence. I will also be assisting the players on and off the pitch as part of my role
In July 2018, Michael Essien has announced his retirement from international football.
