A very sad piece of information coming in from the cape coast road has revealed how a very horrific accident is said to have happened leaving one dead with ten others in serious condition.
The incident took place on the Ekumfi Ekwamkrom section of the Accra-Cape Coast highway on Saturday, September 11, 2021, involving a Metro mass bus with registration number GS 2614-17 that was on its way from Takoradi to Accra and a Toyota Corolla with registration number GV 22-14 which was also from Accra heading for Mankessim.
According to an eye witness at the scene of the event, the corolla driver who died on the spot was said to have made an overtaking which unfortunately was met by the metro mass bus that was also using the route.
The ten people who were injured were immediately rushed to a hospital at mankessim known as Mankessim Roman Catholic Hospital whiles the deceased has been sent to the saltpond mortuary.
