The Cape Coast High court has granted an injunction suit against the NDC’s Member of Parliament-elect for the Assin North Constituency, Mr. James Gyakye Quayson.
The court ruled that Mr James Gyakye Quayson cannot hold himself the member of parliament-elect.
The was after one Michael Ankomah -Nimfa of Assin Bereku filed a petition seeking to annul the declaration of Mr. James Gyakye Quayson as the Member of Parliament (MP) elect for the Assin North Constituency.
The petition says Mr. Quayson owes allegiance to both Ghana and Canada.
