At the moment, there is a simmering “beef” between two controversial yet talented Ghanaian rappers, Medikal and TeePhlow. This hot beef saw light after Medikal urged the upcoming artistes to try as as much as possible to be unique with their crafts.
The Sowutuom Jay Z wrote;
Most of y’all upcoming rappers are trapped within the mindset of impressing and competition. You will always get the applauds and cheer critics but due to lack of uniqueness, your sh*t will be stuck in your a**.
Teephlow who believes in lyricism just like Nas quoted Medikal’s tweet with a different advise that, the fledgling acts should stay true to themselves and work on dropping good songs.
This theory from Teephlow obviously didn’t sit down with Medikal who in turn re-quoted the former tweet to his reply with a heavy jab that “He’s encouraging him as a budding act’.
These comments by Medikal has been tagged as an deep insult to Teephlow because he’s implying that he (Teephlow) is a struggling artiste.
