Reigning VGMA Best Rapper of the Year cum Hiplife/Hiphop Artiste of the Year, Medikal has apparently opined controversially that fellow rapper, M.anifest’s music only gets attention when he fires shots at highly decorated rapper, Sarkodie.
Medikal stated this controversial opinion on Twitter, sparking heated reactions on the platform. The Sowutuom-based rapper further stated in the tweet that since the godMC depends on Sarkodie for relevance, his career will face extinction if Sarkodie leaves the music scene.
Medikal did not mention M.anifest’s name in the tweet however most commentators are of the view that the tweet is a shade directed at the Madina-based rapper.
Well, the commentators may have reasonable basis for their views since M.anifest’s arguably most viral record in his career, godMC, was replete with venoms spat at Sarkodie. Recently, M.anifest has released a tune dubbed Rapper 101, and it has been trending on the various social media platforms since its release.
Sections of the public opine that the record is another jab at Sarkodie, even though it can be seen to be more advisory in nature and targeted at up and coming rappers.
