Gossips24.com has been informed that AMG Medikal has abandoned a fan who suffered a serious injury to the extent of being paralyzed after attending his Welcome to Sowutuom concert in December 2019.
Recall, there were several reports after Medikal’s Welcome To Sowutuom concert which was on an accident that occurred in the course of the show, specifically when Shatta Wale mounted the stage.
The scarf carrying the large speakers fell alongside the heavy speakers during Shatta Wale’s performance at Medikal’s 2019 “Welcome To Sowutuom” Concert.
The scarf carrying the speakers did not only fall on fans but it actually collapsed with some other fans who climbed the scarf just to witness Shatta Wale’s performance.
Its been reported that some fans who were present on the night got injured severely leading to one fan losing his life.
Well, reports reaching Gossips24.com indicates one of the 12 victims identified as Frank Arhin has been hospitalized for the past four months after the incident and has been abandoned by the rapper.
According to Eric Arhin, brother of the victim who is currently in a bad situation at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, his brother paralyzed after the sad incident. He added that his brother suffered a spinal fracture.
In an interview with Mike Two on Adom Entertainment Hall, Eric Arhin pointed out that the cost of his brother’s surgery was around Ghc 26,000 (260,000,000) of which Medikal’s mum asked him to pay half so they cater for the rest.
Sadly, Eric explained to the mother of the 2019 VGMA best rapper of the year winner that he cannot raise such an amount. Waiting to hear a good response from MDK’s mother, she rather told him they are not responsible for his brother’s misfortune since the ‘WELCOME TO SOWUTUOM’ concert was not organized by Medikal. Madam Portia – MDK’s mum – told him point-blank that Medikal only performed on the show hence is not liable.
For a rapper like MDK who charges more than 26,000ghc for a single performance, it would have been easy for him to come to the rescue of Frank Arhin who is currently in a near-death situation at Korle-Bu, however, Eric in his interview with Mike Two also added that the only money he has received from the rapper’s team is 270ghc.
Surprisingly, the rapper has not bothered to make a follow up on the welfare of Frank Arhin, a loyal fan who only attended his favorite rapper’s show to unknowingly meet the greatest misfortune to have happened in his life.
As we speak, Frank Arhin cannot eat, drink or urinate, and his surgery cannot come off since his family hasn’t been able to raise the required amount.
