Mauro Icardi’s home in Paris burgled while he was away playing for PSG

Mauro Icardi is the latest Paris Saint-Germain star to fall victim to burglary and has had £350,000 worth of items stolen while away with his team.

According to L’Equipe, the Argentine striker’s Neuilly-sur-Seine home in the French capital was robbed on Saturday night while he was away with Mauricio Pochettino’s side in Brittany, preparing for their Ligue 1 clash with FC Lorient on Sunday.

The French publication said the burglary was discovered by Icardi’s staff on Sunday morning who claimed that the perpetrators had forced entry into the property via the window.

Local authorities have been notified and DNA samples, as well as fingerprints, were taken from the crime scene on Sunday afternoon.

This comes a week after his teammate, goalkeeper Sergio Rico’s Paris home was burgled while the Spaniard visited Montpellier. He had roughly £22,000 worth of items stolen.
