Paris Saint German (PSG) player Lionel Messi messi has been said to have won this year’s ballon d’Or making it his 7th time being awarded the prestigious award.
Lionel Messi who contested the awards with some big personalities in football like Robert Lewandowski and Ronaldi making him the only player to have the only player to have more individual titles than anyone else.
According to reports making were of the idea that Robert Lewandowski woud beat Messi to take the award thos year but unfortunately came secpnd after the winner was announced.
Although the mercurial Argentinean is yet to find his feet in his new club in France since moving to Paris Saint-Germain, his 30 league goals in his final season at Barcelona along with a win at the Copa del Rey gave him the edge.
